Mexicola is frosty hardy with an excellent quality flesh. Has anise-scented foliage and the fruit have a smooth, thin, glossy skin that is purple-black when ripe. The trees are fairly vigorous with an upright, spreading growth habit and produces Type-A flowers. Best grown in a sunny position where they are sheltered from strong winds where soils are moist, fertile and free-draining.
Grows to about 4m x 3m.
