A very attractive shrub with glossy green foliage and flowers that are larger than figo Port Wine. Highly scented, cream white in colour with burgundy edges to the petals that start to emerge in late Spring, early Summer. Plant individually as a feature or a background plant, as a specimen or may be used to form hedges and screens. Likes full sun to part shade, rich organic soil that is moist but free-draining. Responds well to being trimmed once flowering has finished.
Untrimmed it may grow to between 2.5m and 3m.
