A popular Italian, oil producing selection with good flavour and tolerant to colder climates and frost once established. Reasonably self-fertile, however pollination by another variety such as Frantoio will be beneficial. Plant in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are moderately fertile and free-draining.
May grow to about 4m x 10m in 10 years.
