Araucaria angustifolia, Brazilian Pine – Pb12

Also known as Parana Pine. It is an evergreen tree growing to 40m tall and 1m diameter at chest height. The leaves are thick, tough and scale like, triangular, 3 to 6 centimetres long and 5 to 10 millimetres broad at the base with razor-sharp edges and tip. They persist 10 to 15 years, so cover most of the tree except for the trunk and older branches.
