Betula platyphylla Japonica, Japanese White Birch – Pb6.5

Better known as Japanese White Birch. Has a similar growth habit but has larger leaves and distinct white bark. Highly valued for its prominent white trunk. Suitable for growing in most gardens with average type soils and will require watering during summer months. Hardy, deciduous and looks great when planted out in small groups.

Grows to about 8m x 5m when mature.
