A lovely semi-deciduous tree with mauve-blue flowers from spring and through into summer and has feathery-like foliage. Requires a sheltered, reasonably frost-free and sunny situation when young. Soil needs to be fertile, moist but free-draining. An excellent specimen/feature tree that also provides shade during the summer months.
Grows to about 7m x 5m.
