Better known as Crepe Myrtle. Flowers emerge throughout summer and vary from one plant to another with colours ranging from white, various shades of pink or mauve. Has dark green foliage that turns to various shades of orange, red and yellow in autumn. Best grown in a sunny position with some shelter from strong winds. Will tolerate average type soils providing that they are free-draining. Hardy and deciduous.
