A mass of white or pink flowers begin to appear in spring, they may be either single or semi-double and sometimes fragrant. Ideal as a specimen/feature tree or may be planted out in small groups. Best grown where they get full sun in neutral, average type soils that are moist but free-draining. In Autumn, the foliage gradually turns to various shades of orange, reds and yellows. Hardy, easy to grow and requires very little pruning.
