An evergreen native, maintaining a shrubby form when young. Has dark, glossy green leaves. Produces dull-red flowers that are then followed by bright orange-red berries. Requires shelter when young. Plant in full sun or part shade where soils are rich in organic material, moist and free-draining.
Grows to approximately 15m x 10m.
