A slow-growing, drought tolerant tree noted for its profusion of bell-shaped, bright, crimson-red flowers when the tree is totally devoid of foliage from Spring and into Summer. Perfect as a specimen tree that also provides good shade. Plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile and well-drained.
