A stunning herbaceous perennial that is semi-deciduous to evergreen and produces amazing violet-blue flowers and bright yellow-green calyces from late Summer to late Autumn. Easy-to-grow and suitable for full sun or partial shadewhere soils are moist, reasonably fertile and free-draining. Tolerates short periods of dry conditions once established. May be neccessary to prune back by 1/3 in mid to late Spring.
Grows to between 1.5m and 2m in height and up to 1m wide.
