Hardy, evergreen shrub bearing small, fragrant, anemone-like flowers throughout Spring. Blooms consist of single, soft-red petals surrounding white-edged petaloids. Prefers to grow in semi-shade where soils are moist, rich in organic material, acidic and free-draining. Ideal as a feature plant or may be planted out to create hedges or screens. Tolerates light to moderate frosts.
Grows to about 1.5m x 1m.
