A striking small rounded shrub that has terminal clusters of flaming orange-red pincushion flowers in mid-Spring. Makes a lovely garden plant that provides useful stems for picking. Likes an open sunny position in a free draining acidic soil. Avoid fertilizers. Light prune after flowering.
