A reasonably fast growing conifer with a pyramidal growth habit and bearing male and female cones on the same tree. Best grown in a sunny position where soils are deep, rich with plenty of moisture but can withstand drier conditions than Sequoia sempervirens. A stunning feature/specimen tree.
May grow to between 20m to 25m in height.
